During concept engineering, the requested functionality is translated into a provisional classification of these systems within the technical areas.
Capacity calculations are made for engine room and loading/unloading systems and a preliminary heat balance is drawn up. This concept engineering forms a solid basis for discussions with other parties and the client.
In basic engineering, the system diagrams (P & IDs) and the associated BOM are calculated and delivered. The engine room layout drawing is created and detailed capacity calculations are performed. The basic engineering is required for certification by grading agencies.
During detail engineering, a 3D engineering model of the piping systems is created.
The 3D engineering is supplied complete with production drawings (isometric sketches), installation drawings and layout drawings of the relevant technical areas.
In addition to piping system-related work, we can accept complete modeling assignments, which enables us to generate the complete layout of technical rooms. This may include modulating all kinds of equipment with foundation drawings and routing HVAC channels and cableways. This gives a huge number of advantages in the field of engineering of each of these systems, installation of the systems and final inspection and accuracy.
A propulsion installation of the main engine and propeller shaft installation is supplied with an alignment protocol and arrangements of generators and pumps.
As-built engineering is on-site engineering to verify the built-in piping systems. Existing systems can also be measured for repairs and conversions.
